Concept:
This is the same funny bunch of people that was firmly united in their movement to get separated. They wanted to sell off their ancestral property and move out and form their own nuclear families. But their head did not agree. They later shifted to their Mami's house as per her last wish. And that is where our upwardly mobile middle class joint family faced its trails and tribulations in life. They now in Instant Khichdi discovered oil in their old property and suddenly became one of the Super Rich Family. They live in there own illusionary world as they have no clue about the lifestyle of the super rich families.
The name Instant was added to Khichdi because it was first aired on Star plus and so that audience do not understand it as a repeat telecast of Khichdi episodes, as it was now to be telecasted on Star One with new fresh episodes.
The only change in Instant Khichdi is that the family has become super rich and so the look of the artists and location has been upgraded.
In Instant Khichdi along with the take offs on the lifestyle of rich people, we have retained the madness and other ingredients as it is which made the Khichdi so special.
